Hello!
Wow...I haven't been on here since April '09! I need to start doing better with blogger. I'm sorry y'all. I'm more of a facebooker and I'm still not that good at keeping up with that either.
Well, let's see, where do I start? I'm sure everyone knows that Richard and I are expecting a baby. We found out earlier this month that we are having a girl! Her name is going to be Ashlyn LaShae....we'll call her Ashlyn. She weighs 1 lb and 2 oz. as of right now and kicks all the time. Mama Dee Dee and Grandpa Terry went with us to the ultrasound apt. to find out what we were having. That just made the experience even more special. So, now that we know we are having a girl we have been getting excited to buy things for her. We found a bedding set we loved online last weekend. It is pink, white, mint green, and chocolate brown with flowers, leaves, pink and brown ladybugs. You can google it if you would like. Its on www.distinctivenurseries.com and the bedding set is called ladybug lucy bedding. If I can figure out how to do it, I'll try to download a picture of it to my blog page. I hope y'all like it as much as we do!
We have also been busy house hunting. Richard is being relocated to Jacksonville, FL in May, so we decided since we're having a baby we should try our luck with buying a house. Everything has been going great so far. We went to Jacksonville, FL last week and spent about 5 days there looking for a house with our realitor. She was a God send! The first house she took us to see was the house we ended up going with. It is beautiful. It's in a neighborhood where they take a few different housing blue prints and build off those and then try to sell them. The house we are in the process of buying is brand new. It has one of the biggest backyards in the neighborhood and is a 2 story house that comes with all the appliances. Thank you Lord for the washer and dryer!! I'm so tired of hunting down quarters so I can wash my clothes at the laundry mat here at our townhomes. LOL! Anyway, I will have to post some pictures so y'all can check it out. We are just sitting on pins and needles right now waiting to see if our loan is approved through their agent. If not, we should still be okay because we already have a VA loan approval from another company. This one would just be better because our interest rate would be lower and we get more perks with them. So, just say a prayer for us if you can.
Well, I guess that's pretty much it for now. Other than that, we're just trying to enjoy our last few weeks in San Diego. We are going to miss it here like crazy. It is so beautiful and the weather is amazing. But we will deffinitely be back here to visit one day in the near future. I love you all and hope everyone is doing well. Loves and hugs to all our family and friends!
Love,
Mandy
